New Beginners
This class gives students an introduction and solid foundation to Middle Eastern dance whilst creating a fun and exciting, as well as supportive and encouraging class room environment, all of which are all very important to Pamela. Students will be shown the basic belly dance movements constructively broken down to enable each student to understand the technique involved. We also look at good posture and safe dance practice. A beginner's dance will be taught and students will be introduced to the beautiful art of the veil.

Beginners & Ongoing
This is a continuing class which focuses on technique, further development of movements, layering, stylising plus emotional and physical expression through dance. Students will be encouraged to start looking at their individual style and to expand their skills to include their own dance improvisations. We will complete the beginners dance and learn a new choreography. Students may be introduced to cane (stick) and zills (finger cymbals) during the year.

Intermediate/Advanced
These classes cater for students with higher level dancing abilities.
Technique and choreographies are more challenging and creative. Students may have input into the choreographies being taught in class. In this class we also cover solo work, stage presentation and interaction with the audience.
